Symbius Hosts 2010 Over The Line Tournament In Phoenix, Arizona



In spite of Gary Hershey showing up with a wounded arm, the 5th annual Symbius Medical Over The Line Tournament was held last Saturday in the parking lot of the Phoenix Baptist Church in Phoenix.

2 Huntleys and a Basketcase dominated the nine team Over the Line softball tournament to take home first place prize. The trio of Kellie Case, Ryan Huntley, and Russ Huntley won each match with precision and power on offense, and some amazing catches out in the field. Second place went to Brendan Downs,Andrew Reilly, and Chuck Aoki of the Upset Special. In the Wiffle Ball division, the Wheelchair Suns (Andrew Rice,Devin Cooper, Joe Underwood) took first place.

Winning team: 2 Huntleys and a Basketcase (Russ Huntley, Kellie Case, and Ryan Huntley)

This year a home run derby was added to the competition. Top honors went to Dwight Knox. 2nd went to Brendan Downes, and 3rd went to Scott Gehrke.
